I would love to see pics of both the leather and jacquard version. I'm still having a hard time deciding!

Welcome to HK telicious!! The bag is HK$2990, which is a bit more expensive than the one sell in the online boutique that you guys had mentioned in the above. And when will you visit HK? coz the salesman told me they didnt have much stock here~ Besides the brown Jacquard, I also saw a leather one in turquoise!!

There are a number of MbMJ boutiques in HK and they are all easy to reach! You can find them on Marc Jacobs Website or you can PM me !!

I'm going there in May or so, I was told that stuff in HK is very cheap and I was kind of hoping that it would be cheaper there too, which I guess it isn't. Did you buy the leather bag for HK$2990? There's no tax or anything right? Can you post modelling photos of the leather bag, I really want to see whether or not I should get the leather version or the jacquard version!

ya, you are right! There is no tax in HK, many tourists buy designer products right here.
You should take a look and have some shopping!

wow, that is a beautiful purple.

just checked out the Fall '08 bags on the site, and i kind of like the busy one with mint green straps and the logo jacquard that seems to be covered in plastic.

i'm so excited, i finally found an apartment and it's less than a mile from the Marc by Marc store in Bucktown... even though i'll probably never have the money to shop there. does anyone know if they ever run sales? that's what i loved about living in Bloomfield Hills.... tons of stores nearby with a lot of great inventory, and finding stuff for 70+% off.

In my opinion the best bag ever made by Marc by Marc Jacobs is the Quinn in stone color.. Its simply amazing!! I just saw one on ebay go for 520!! thats over the retail price! NICE!

I just ordered the pretty tate tote online. Mostly for a functional tote/part-time school bag. I hope it's sturdy enough to hold up, after all, it is nylon. Does anyone have experience with the nylon bags? Are they really flimsy and get holes or do they hold up pretty well?
