It’s just ok.
I kind of like that it’s an exclusive for Bergdorf’s….for some reason that feels kind of fresh? As big prestige retailers begin to fail, and designers do, too, teaming up to share the cost to produce new, interesting clothes could be a viable way forward for all parties.
However, I wish, that the collection to be made with Bergdorfs would have been his last Fall show - which was excellent. One of his best. A shame that collection never got to live beyond the runway show…but what a show it was!
Anyway…it’s a show that just doesn’t feel memorable. It doesn’t really have much to say, I don’t think. You’d think that with all that time off, Marc would have figured out something really compelling to say instead of just a “commentary” on “the current state.”
