Marc Jacobs in rehab..

I was suspicious when he started loosing all this weight FAST and with his time schedule...hopes he gets better...

After Arnault hired him in 1997, Jacob's partying--such a glamourous clutch for the insecure "poseur"--got out of control. "It's a cliche," Jacobs says, "but when I drank I was taller, funnier, smarter, cooler." Using cocaine and even heroin almost nightly, Jacobs stopped showing up, got thrown off airplanes, and pissed off his staff, who ultimately found their boss's debauchery a pain in the ***. "I would come into work and fall straight to sleep," Jacobs says, "and then I would tell everyone to come in on a Saturday because we were behind, and then I wouldn't show up."

i just found this... it's an old article and he talks about the last time he had problems with drugs and stuff...

i agree, i was very suspicious too

i hope he gets better!:flower:

I'm glad that he's taking care of himself. All the best to him. :flower:

AFAIK, cocaine (or heroin either) doesn't give you muscle definition ^_^ I think perhaps he changed the way he ate, & changed the way he exercised, was in a good place ... and then relapsed.

I guess the good news is, with cigarettes they say the more times you quit, the closer you are to kicking the habit for good. I assume the same is true of other addictions.

arizona?? is he going to the same place donatella went to?
maybe he'll return with a collection for s/s inspired by the colours of the desert, too..

Maybe he'll make start making better clothes when he leaves rehab. But as much as I dislike his fashion I still recognize him as a really skillful designer.

No one may believe it, but I never suspected a thing. I guess it was the lack of 'newsworthy' behavior surfacing, as it often does with certain other famous types before a surprise like this is revealed-- though I know you don't need to trash a hotel room or swap outfits with a dancer to have a problem...

he should be out soon, after all ss08 is just starting at the ateliers, he has plenty of time and a huge team to take care of business while he's cooling off

 see, that was my first reaction, too.

But best wishes to Marc. He will return and will be AMAZING. as always.

I wish him a speedy recovery,
I hate to see anyone going thru this,
and i hate to say this but.. i heard from a legit sources that he was "ordered" to go by the bosses at you know where.
as some of the old habits were resurfacing and they wanted to do something before it escalated.......
this is a serious problem in the industry (thankfully less now than it used to be) but dealing with this is something no one should have to go thru......
