They did a remarkable make-up job for the film! I saw a making of and it seemed like Marion stayed in character throughout the filming! She said she often feel asleep while the make-up team were applying the prosthetics and when she woke up - she was Piaf! It is an amazing transformation! She even allowed the Hair and make-up team to shave her hair line! Amazing!

The actress nailed Piaf's mannerisms, including her love of little black dresses, a preference that seems to have spilled over into her real life. Seen here at yesterday's Tokyo press conference for the biopic, she's managed to pay sartorial homage to a great star while still looking like herself.

Oh my God! I had just seen La Vie En Rose.. it was incredible, to say the least. It's my fave movie at the moment. Marion Cotillard was AMAZING!! I hope she gets an Oscar.
