Marion Cotillard

Nice to see her win over Angelina :innocent: (I know they were in two different categories, but still, it does make A.J. less of a favorite for the Oscar and vice versa, doesn't it?)
When will they announce the Oscar nominations?

SHE WON!!! :bounce: :bounce: lol, I'm very hapy for her, she was unbelievable in La vie en Rose. I wish there had been a ceremony, but at least she's winning the awards she deserves to win :flower::flower:

the dress she wore to the Critic Choice Awards is Nina Ricci

I agree! I don't even understand why angelina was nominated! however good is 'a mighty heart', it was not an acting performance, the role doesn't show her acting abilities, IMO she's nominated because she's angelina jolie and because the movie was moving, but she's not a great actress in it. at least far less than marion cotillard. I hope she's gonna win, she deserves it

THANK YOU! Always fear to get stoned for saying this:lol:

First of all watched La Vie en Rose and have to say her performance was incredible. i really felt that she was Edith Piaf and not some actress portraying her. I highly recommend the movie!

And secondly Marion is part of Newsweek's Oscar table, which is a discussion between Oscar-worthy actors including Marion, James Mcavoy, Ellen Page...

Celebrity stylists make their picks for the predicted Oscar nominees this year

For Marion
Liberman: "Black and white is simple, sophisticated, and totally timeless," (YSL)

Stanley and Erlich: "What can I say except 'beyond'?" Stanley says of this Chanel couture dress. "This is one of my favorite dresses I've ever seen and who better than a foreign actress to pull this one off!"

Zee: "I love this! Marion is both daring and refined at the same time, which is such a perfect reflection of what Lanvin is all about."

Fremar: "Obviously they’d have to line it! But she's so interesting, and she always takes risks. I also thought the color would be really beautiful on her." (Galliano)
