It's very garish. And the choice of fabrics is VERY questionable. I'm very disappointed. I thought last season knocked it out of the park.

SS25 is stronger, on this I can agree. It's a decent collection. Beautiful colors, unexpected volumes, nice bags, quirky casting.
It's always interesting to discover any collection by Francesco Risso. Everything is really personal and feels like an invitation into his fantasy.

Not all garments are perfectly executed, but the mood, the research on volumes is interesting and not as scholar as other designers do.

It stems from the period he was responsible for Prada Donna VIP and of course she was wearing custom Prada all the time.
Renzo loves to listen to her and have her approval.

Jesus Christ what is that editing… Videographer and editor really said “my passion is jump cuts, and jump cuts is what I shall do”.

Everything moves so horribly on the body. And the satin looks even cheaper in motion. I don’t get this collection. Sure I keep coming back to this because it is quite the car crash but myyyyyyy god it’s nonsensical. And a shame to have Marni be turned into this.

From what i know there is always a conflict between his side and the merchandisers...he always claims he is an artist snd renzo dont fight too much with him....but they were very close to replace him like in 2023 but couldn't find the right person to do it...so they let him stay

No, he wanted him out, i think the fact that Renzo couldnt find a good replacement it is he decided to keep him in Marni...i guess he is ok having Aw support...honestly i dont know how much they are selling,etc...i think they do better business in Japan and with american artists,rappers,etc
