Softgrey - sorry I didn't see this thread until now - I seem to miss them quite a lot on Personal style. i like the bag - its really nice but I think you'll have to be careful with what you wear it with so that its not too boho. however I am confident that you'll wear it well. I bought my Mum a Marni messenger bag from yoox aboyt two years ago & it looked fantastic on the site pics but when she got it, it was gigantic! It is really nice but a bit difficult for her to wear - there is a bit on it that looks slightly like a shield with huge rivets on it.

Enjoy using it!!! I find bags difficult - go through an almost daily bag crisis. Really considered buying a blue Mulberry bayswater bag at the weekend - it was £396 in a sale but I resisted.

thanks everyone...it's very dark brown actually and the leather is very dull and grainy...but soft...the brass thing a ma bobs are not nearly as shiny as the photo...that's some really bad lighting in the picture...and when you lift the flap...there are more tiny little brass flowers...it's just precious.... \

it really is beautiful...i love just looking at it...

now i'm back on the hunt for those manolos i wanted...

i found some manolos...

and i never wear either the bag OR the shoes......

but they are lovely to look at...
considering selling the shoes...since i've never worn them......
