Favourite designer:

Maryna: I adore grunge, downtown style. This season I've been killed by YSL and bought up the whole collection. And I'm a fan of Isabel Maurant and its easy french downtown style. Every season I'm pleased with her skirts, boots and so on.

What do your prefer for every day?

Maryna: There is quite a new label Black & Denim (or Black Denim (not sure)). They have jeans, hoodies and T-shirts of great quality. Jeans fit perfectly and your legs look as if you train for 10 hours daily. I prefer Toms or trainers when i have to walk around Soho, or Louboutins when I have to go out.

Do you shop online?

Maryna: Sometimes I shop at Net-a-porter. But it's difficult for me when it comes to blazers, jeans, trousers because i need to try these pieces on. It's easier with hoodies, belts, accessories.

What is the main accessory for you?

Maryna: Earrings! I don't like chains. I have just one from Dior and it's so delicate that you could hardly see it. But big earrings is my passion. I have lots from vintage Chanel.

So do you like vintage pieces?

Maryna: Definitely yes! Though sometimes vintage pieces smell not so good, but vintage accessories are the best! Modern accessories are usually to delicate and right, and vintage are "tydyh!!!!" lol: i believe it means "noticeable"). There are some great vintage shops in NY!

Do you usually shop in NY?

Maryna:Yes. I think shopping in NY is the best with regard to prices and availability. Even if they don't have any piece at the shop right now they can deliver your size from Dallas or Texas. Or you can easily get a bag that is already sold out in Paris.

And do you have any pieces from Russian designers?

Maryna: .... (silence)... Russian designers....(silence). I like Russian designers. (her reaction is so funny ) I don't know where to buy their clothes. When I'm in Moscow I don't have time for shopping, so no. I don't have any yet.

What are 5 most important pieces in your wardrobe?

Maryna: It's easy! Jeans, by the way, i would never wear hard jeans that hinder my movements. I need comfort, so I prefer jeans with stretch. I like to nestle down in the plane when I'm going somewhere. Well, jeans, ... the second piece is white T-shirt, i have great amount of different white T-shirts! Flat shoes. I'm a fan of Toms in the summer. I have them in all possible colors. Leather Jacket and a scarf.

No skirts? No dresses?

Maryna: No... I have just some little black dresses. If I go out I ask my friends designers they e-mail me some options and i choose. That's why i buy only basic pieces but not gowns.
