that's completely ridiculous to move her from that list (3 Vogue covers in 2012, 3 in 2011) unless she is going to appear on another list or reemerge onto the list at a higher position. She's definitely working and gaining more editorials, but MDC is all about hype. Until she gets a certified major beauty contract, or a Prada, Balenciaga, Gucci, or YSL campaign I guess we'll have to get used to it

Her last big campaign was two seasons ago with D&G, so I can understand why MDC would drop her from the list. She has Vogue covers but they're secondary Vogues, not American, Italian, French, or British Vogue.
But there are also girls on MDC's list who have done a lot less.
Also very strange that all of sudden a bunch of DNA girls were added with suspect recent credentials. Politicking going on I think.

also, seriously I don't think people should care so much about the mdc ranking.. obviously it's not the most accurate representation of today's most successful models, so I see no need to complain about it or even take it as something that's important. we know that Maryna is successful by the work that she does.. it does not need to be validated by mdc (at least to me)

MDC ranking system is just THE most bizzare thing in the world. I can't think about it too much becasue it makes me angry.

The fact that Maryna was in the top 50, at like 28 or something was just ...she should have been in the top 20 at the very least.
