Matthew Williamson S/S 11 London

absolutely stuning !!! colors, outlines, materials, fabric and inspirations.... waaaow you ladies just look so great wearing Williamson !!

Cute pieces here and there. Love the use of different colors and prints. Its nice to see Stam walking a showing..

Beautiful. At first I was all I don't know but then we got to the blue and it was love.

I really like when Matthew using blue. It should be his colour like Valentino's is red.

PS where is everyone. Why is no one reviewing the London collections? Is London not good enough?

^agree!electric blue is Williamson's signature color!
btw i really like this!!!some pieces are truly lovely

I think when someone, who normally produces beautiful collections, produces a beautiful collection, people often don't feel the need to comment (unless it's exceptionally beautiful, even for them)?

I think most people reserve their comments for the more controversial collections/designers and/or the surprise collections (e.g. when a designer, who normally presents conventional collections, presents an uncoventional one, or whatever) and/or when other people have said something about a collection/designer that they strongly disagree with?

ITA that this collection is lovely, though (albeit a bit on the quiet side for MW). :)

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I know London isn't the most prominent city but still it usually has much more attention than this, and when you throw into the mix that this seasons schedule is perhaps the strongest it has ever been, plus all the media attention London has been getting the past few seasons, it leaves me a little bewildered.

i feel like this collection is nothing new. i have seen the colors, cuts and materials in previous seasons of almost every other designer...

Couldn't agree more. That's exactly what was going through my mind...strappy things, fringe, harnesses, etc. Man I am so sick of fringe.

That royal blue knocked my socks off! I LOVE this, and I'm usually not for colour at all, but this is really beautiful.

Am I really the first (only?) person to see a major McQueen influence here? I usually hate when people compare everything to his work, but... parts of this are really McQueen to me.

I like it, nice collection
but something makes me feel like it is a bit over the top, or push too hard to be something its not
like he is trying too hard, it's not relaxed
