I agree. The leg posture is definitely weird. I am getting David Sims vibes by the photography.

I like the idea of it, but nothing looks natural any more. It's all so one-dimensional.

This campaign is trying way too hard. The clothes are simple, almost utilitarian, but they’ve been dropped into this hyper-dramatic landscape like it’s some kind of epic story. And then the model just stands there—stiff, expressionless, like a mannequin someone left behind. If you’re going to style something that basic, at least give us a pose, a stride, something with presence. Or, just skip all that hire Meisel..

I am an Angelina stan so I think she is nothing short of perfection, but this was a photoshop background? It doesn’t look natural.

There's a problem with the background: too dull, we're waiting for more. The effect is similar to Chanel's latest Métiers d'art campaign starring Tenney and Wen. Sims or McDean?

Would love to see more Max Mara models in that campaign... wonder there are so many SOLO campaigns this year.
Miss Karolina Spakowski for example who did so many good catwalks this year, but miss her in campaigns. Also Ida Heiner...

There are moments in your career when you do a lot of fashion shows and few campaigns, I suppose, it's not the first time it's happened. Angelina is Piergiorgio's favourite and among the most loved by MaxMara under both Vian and Goodman. However, for example, a model who has done many shows, but very few campaigns is Alex Consani, I don't know if it's just my perception.

Alex didn’t do much shows at all, at least not compared to other girls, she only did few big ones and that’s why you think she was everywhere bcs she had big shows in NYC, Milan and Paris. Anyway Angelina Kendall was not so present on the runway last two seasons but I think we all agree when she was new face that she will have huge career. And Awar is another one of Piergiorgio favourites, but Awar actually does huge amount of shows and campaigns. Glad she and Angelina are having their moments.

That's right, even though Awar was recently rediscovered by Piergiorgio, his favorites are also Luiza Perote and Sandra Murray. Consani has done 22 shows on the schedule, which is still a high number considering that she hasn't even gotten a campaign (so far). The girl with the most shows but not among the debutants is I think Yilan Hua.

Betsy Gaghan walked the most shows last season but only has one main campaign. I don’t think Alex really walked that much until Paris. Karolina walked a lot of shows in Milano, but not as much in the other cities. Though Angelina definitely walked more this past season than she did SS2025. And she closed FW2025 and just opened the Max Mara resort show. Clearly with Vittoria not walking FW shows outside of Paris it gave others a show to become MM favorites and Angelina is a clear front runner so I think she deserves the solo campaign.

Maybe it is a multi-girl campaign. If not, I too would love Spakowski in the casting. Of course, Anna Ewers would make it really special for me.
