Max Mara F/W 2025.26 : Angelina Kendall

Would love to see more Max Mara models in that campaign... wonder there are so many SOLO campaigns this year.
Miss Karolina Spakowski for example who did so many good catwalks this year, but miss her in campaigns. Also Ida Heiner...
i think Bibi Breslin is more campaign girl than runway girl... last season she isnt walked for many shows but from the top 50, she's the model who booked more ad campaigns. Even more than Loli and Lulu. It's very strange.. I think Karolina this year booked Fendi, Gucci and Jil Sander ads..but i agree she deserves more...

Sadly, this is another OG campaign.

The prairie backdrop is so beautiful. I just wish they had done more with it.

Angelina is a one dimensional model. Her facial expression is always the same in every photo. She is not a young Gisele because Gisele had great energy and it showed in her photographs. That said, the scenery of the campaign will look beautiful on the printed page.

she is boring! imagine the drama say mariacarla could add to this.

I hope you don't work in the fashion world because you'll have a new enemy. His name is Piergiorgio hahaha. Anyway...

Angelina and Loli are like two peas in a pod as models... both once-in-a-lifetime faces, yet neither have a clue how to utilize them in their printwork. Eh.

There was so much to work with here. The concept of this campaign as a whole is a beautiful one. Yet this falls almost disturbingly flat.

Angelina shines on the runway.
Hopefully the print work will come in time 😅

Very Balenciaga FW2012…
Im very not convinced by Angelina as a print model. Her best photos are generally when she smiles but I don’t think she wants to replicate Arizona Muse’s career…

There are hardly any models for whom I'd have the same enthusiasm as I once had.

Models today don't have the same 'apprenticeships' that saw them work for years at a lower level (or in other markets) where they would hone their skills, or get the chance to work with someone who would see their potential and bring it out over time, before they moved up to get the big contracts.

These days, it feels like the only professionals honing anyone's potential are the plastic surgeons.

Added to that, magazine shoots and ad campaigns are now usually so one-dimensional - "optimised for the internet" - that it doesn't demand excellence from anyone involved, so it would probably be a waste to have someone on the level of Meisel-era Linda Evangelista in front of the (digital) camera.
