I understand Freja doesnt attend most social gatherings like MET or fashion awards but maybe thats her preference not to attend ?? , just because she does not show up on any public events doesn't mean Freja is not invited.

And Natasha wasn't a exclusive for Givenchy was she??? However number 1 is not that big deal, Natasha is doing great and will do great whatever spot she ends up with! Natasha is a model that never bores me.

There are a few alternatives other then Freja for number 1: Anja (she deserves it just as much as Freja!!!!), Natasha, Karlie, perhaps Sasha and from a few years if Arizona still doing great, then Arizona.

Lol, if you post it enough times you might actually believe what you're saying. VS models have sex appeal for men, not Freja. what's unique about her personality? I would love to know. I don't consider her a chamelon when it comes to campaigns and eds. MCB is a chameleon, Freja not so much. If Anja gets a few more big campaigns next season and a major cover or two you could make a good case for her being #1.

Why is KK not back on the icons list? She should replace Guinevere. She's had more campaigns and major covers over the last two seasons then Guinevere (obviously Guinevere has more editorial work). Do they take into account a longer period of time when making the rankings?

the way Freja dresses, her Aura and her cool personality in Interviews clearly you can distinguish her huge appeal to designers and the public !!!!

Anja can never be no. 1 only Freja
the only advantage Anja has is her experience and Anja being an old age model 29/30 yrs old has been around longer than Freja

Anna Wintour or Riccardo Tisci isn't fond of Anja either and has less support by designers only Peter Dundas and maybe Karl and photographers, only I&V
Freja has the support of Karl and most designers
major photographers, steady blue chip exclusivity by Chanel

Kurkova is NO Icon, she's on the money girls already
Guineverre has been modeliing for a very long time, she is more iconic let alone be compared to that Kurkova

Yeah like Tisci makes the list?? I believe Freja isn't in one of his campaigns either. Besides Anna isn't fond of Freja either, is she? Anja did have a OG ed if I remember correctly in the last US Vogue. But uhm, why do you keep saying exclusivity by Chanel? I mean chosen to be in every campaign doesn't mean you're exclusive to that brand. If Karl who make her exclusive yeah then. Same with MCB, she is a Tisci favourite and in every campaign but also a star in many other campaigns. And Yes talking about chameleons defo MCB. She can transform!!

And yes Freja got many support, but the public not so much (certainly not outside the fashionworld).

Natasha hasn't had any major campaign for the last 2 years? This season she has Roberto Cavalli and last season Givenchy Exclusive!! Are you serious?
For me she needs the icon spot not the N°1 spot!!
Probably 1/2 years and she will got this !!

roberto cavalli is definitely not a first class rated blue chip campaign and when you are paired with 2 models then i dont think that is considered as big. same goes for givenchy, how many girls in the campaign last season? 5/6, i dont think that is considered as big either.

over the past 2 years, girls like constance, karlie, abbey, anja, sasha, arizona, etc are doing way better than natasha when it comes to scoring campaigns. natasha was spectacular in 2009 but then went downhill after that.

if natasha doesnt score a decent amount of campaign in the next one or 2 season she'll be removed from the list just like the case of stam, coco, and donalson.

^^ yeah right I don't know much about him or that he indeed is exclusive for Chanel, but Freja isn't. i mean, if we compare to Lara, she really is exclusive for CK clothing so how do we measure overhere??? ..i think that both Karolina and Guinevere should be in the icons list, i'd even add Erin Wasson too and i know that Christy and Linda are THE icons but they just do 1 ed once in while so they should be removed..

i agree that Lily D., Ming Xi, Julia Nobis and Milou should be ranked + Samantha Gradoville

they also removed Hannah Holman, kinda unexpected, what about Miranda Kerr, Emily Didonato and Kendra Spears??

also what you guys think about Sui He debuting at 31? it gave me the same feeling when Juliane Gruner did.. 1 campaign + 1 Vogue cover and they're top30 ..and Gruner hasn't done anything since her cover

Anyway, I do think Ming, Julia Nobis, and Lily should be ranked... Sasha hasn't done much editorial work in the past couple months, but she always kills it with campaigns. it would be ridiculous if that happens Sasha should be at no. 3, she booked more campaigns this season than any other top5 model and OG Armani campaign B)

at the moment the strongest contender would be freja or maybe anja. to a certain extent, i do agree that freja looks pretty much the same in most of her edits but that does not make her less deserving for the top spot. to each his own. her covers/campaigns/edits for the 2-3 seasons were impeccable.

i heart natasha but she's no threat to freja. karlie seems to have slowed down a bit. i wonder if she still has the support from dior? arizona needs consistency for the next 2-3 seasons. and joan needs major vogue covers! seriously.

so, all in all, it's pretty much down to freja or anja unless lara remained no.1 for another 1-2 years of which then i think arizona would be the strongest contender if she keeps up her work.

Jac ,Karmen ,Constance and Sig would also be the strongest contenders too.

constance is a definitely a strong candidate. she has so many covers and of course a long term cosmetic contract with estee lauder, that is huge almost bigger than any high fashion campaigns.
