But then again, I'm just trying to be optimistic.

It is a big upset of course to know that Meghan's images from the Prada campaign weren't used.

Do we know for sure that's the case? None of the images will be used? I am still hopeful. Only a couple of images are out so far. I am dying to see Meghan in this Prada campaign, the styling and the color palette are tailor-made for her.

Well I'm disappointed too, I wanted to see her on those ads too. And I think my disappointment won't fade away if she get some eyewear campaign... the only thing that would make me change my mind would be a total suprise, consciously organised by Prada, I mean they started with Sasha and they only release the Megan pictures once everybody think it will only be Sasha. Well, sounds confused and my scenario is more of a dream than a real expectation... Though it would be nice and leave a mark in people's mind. Prada's latest campaigns were all disappointing to me and a strong one, with a new concept would have been warmly welcome. I didn't like what they did with Irina and Anabela last season, always on the background and half of their head was cut on the picture... Maybe it's not that bad she's not on the ads if it was the same kind, would have been even more heartbreaking to see her as a second rôle...

Honestly, I think the Prada campaings are fantastic. They turn mediocre runway collection into pieces of art in print. It would be a phenomenal boost to Meghan's career. I realize Prada may be disappointing to someone personally, but it is considered one of the standards (along with Lanvin, David Yurman and some others) in the industry.

^Well, to me it's just the opposite, I love their runway collections but the printed ads were disappointing (especially the last one and this one without Meghan, I loved the one with Sasha playing with a little cat) but I guess it's just a matter of taste. Sure a Prada campaign would be great for Meghan but it's just what is hurting now as she's not on the ads...

I love her hair and her makeup at Anna Sui. It fits her perfectly.

And about the whole Prada ad mystery, I am just afraid that it may hurt her career if she isn't featured in them. I thought most of her hype was around the fact that she was a Prada and girl, but know that she isn't in their mainline ads I hope that it doesn't ruin her editorial or her runway career. But then again she was also the cover girl for Vogue Italia two months in a row.

Its one of her original polaroids from Mode Models. I think it was one of the first few images I had of her while making the thread back in May. So it should be on one of the first few pages.
