First of all, it comes as no surprise that Meghan will be a Prada girl soon. I just didn't expect her to be landing a campaign for them this quickly. Especially since she's not at IMG! Actually this is incredible news, five or so seasons of IMG domination, and finally a Supreme girl claims their rightful place with Prada!

And yes...I would have MUCH rather Kulikova be kept away from that campaign. However, the addition of Meghan is enough to make me beyond insanely proud of her!

Though I would suspect that her agencies are holding the campaign and editorial work until after her runway debuts in order to really increase the buzz in order to carry Meghan long after the season; rather than to end up with nothing to continue buzz after she walks the runways miles. Its a smart strategy, but it doesn't make the waiting any less difficult!

Good point. I never thought about it like that.

It sort of reminds me of what was happening last season with Georgia Frost. With Georgia, we got the buzz, the pictures, more buzz and by the time shows rolled around, you were either a fan or really tired of her. Right now, Meghan has the hype, but you're only getting her in small doses, which makes it easier to handle. You want to learn more about her cause not everything is coming to you at once.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Meghan right now. She has produced some amazing images so far and Mode Models rarely disappoints me with their finds. (Hello: Heather, Julia, Terron and Johanna...not to mention TFS's very own Sam. ) I guess we'll see how she turns out.

^Thats a good point. I don't want people to be sick of her by the time the shows roll around but waiting does get to be long!! I want to see the shots from the Vogues that she has shot, though!! I can't wait!!

^^^^^Well, I'm not saying I'm right, it could all be coincidence...but I think we know the likelihood of that being the case is slim as she has excellent management (both from Mode and Supreme). I just know that's how I would manage it if I was her agent.

jssy4eva, I agree with you completely...its hard start buzzing in the summer, when S/S is so far away, and yet still maintain interest during and after the shows. Meghan is still a well kept secret for the most part, but that's going to end soon as her name is going to be dropped left and right come October.

Can I just say this now though? I am fearing the day when I have to read fashionista.com drop her name left and right, as if they've been covering her for months.

excellent points both rockstar and jssy, hype can be pretty much like playing with fire and some girls are almost extinguished even before they start (tayla ) so it does make sense the waiting and the secrecy behind her bookings.

I am so happy for Meghan to have this all happen to her. That's FIVE editions of Vogue she shot before even setting one foot on the runways....not even Tayla could say that...only Jil Sander when you think of it. This is waaaaay bigger!

I'm kind of surprised Anabela was dropped (assuming it is another trio, and hintmag didn't just leave out a bunch of names?). It would've made more sense if it was Sasha + Meghan + some other new girl/s. Now it really feels like Anabela was replaced with Meghan. If you see what I mean.

Haha yes she must be in it! Meghan said that there were four girls in it, her Sasha and Irina but she couldn't remember the other girls name so I am assuming that it is Anabela
