I'm still so baffled by the fact she came out of Edmonton not to mention the Edmonton City Center Model Search. Those things are pretty much useless and she's probably the only thing to ever have come out of it successful. It's so exciting!

Does anyone know which high school she went to?

Also, I think my friend took some shots with her before the 'bangs' took over her face...I have to dig it up....

With Steven Meisel nurturing the beginning of your career, only great things can result. Meghan is the latest example of how the quartet of Meisel/Prada/Marsh/Vogue Italia can propel one to stardom, with two back-to-back covers (One only-girl) for Vogue Italia topping an eclectic list of editorials and upcoming campaigns. Even though her runway season did not generate buzz at the level of Catherine McNeil last season, it's her printwork that proves her truly worthy of an immediate entrance into our top 5.

I'm still so baffled

It shows what a strong agent can do. Kelly Streit of Mode Models told the crowd at the Calgary Stampede model search this summer that after he selected Meghan at the Edmonchuk (sic) model search, the international agents brought in for the search didn't want to sign her. So he took her to the head of Supreme and insisted he sign her. Streit might have taken the resistance as a personal challenge, but obviously he had a better idea of what the modeling world wanted next. The rest of us can watch and learn.

(The for-profit model searches are very exploitive. Some agencies have free model searches!)
