Meghan Collison

^What a surreal little editorial that one is. I really, really like that one. The mood works without being too angst ridden, and the styling is really lovely. Great work as usual Meghan. ;)

I agree, the swan shot is amazing but I love the feel of the whole editorial. Very dark but it doesn't have the angry mood like some of the other ones. It seems dark but still soft. I love it!

The new Numero editorial looks amazing. She captures the mood very well and it is a lot more soft and not as moody as we have seen her in the past. ^_^

^Highlight, no. Busiest time of the year for a model, yes. Given how many editorials she's been producing lately (and literally she has something out every month), I can easily see how Meghan might be too burnt out to run the rat race of castings, fittings, and shows. Her visibility in print is stronger than most other up and comers on the runways so I wouldn't worry about this doing much damage to her career. :flower:

^Agree. Also, it's becoming very apparent that she's an amazing editorial/print model and I believe that will be what carries her career. Her runway work is ... not remarkable. Her print work is.
I think the runway will always play second fiddle for Meghan.

:flower:

I love her Numero editorial!, it reminds me so much of Bettie Page a surreal Bettie P

i found these on style.com; dont think they have been posted yet?

Is that it? No more modelling? Is Meaghan the new Georgia Frost? :innocent:

Um...where are you getting that, because she didn't do much runway? Meghan has had some of the most outstanding editorials with some of the biggest photographers (like Meisel who obviously LOVES her), and her campaigns haven't been to shabby either (Belstaff, Prada Sport)...she's obviously not made for the runway but I think the way she looks in print is stunning, and she'll continue working.

^^^ no, don't get me wrong?! I love her look - I've been following her since the very start of her career when all we could see were those Supreme polaroids!

I mean, I think she looks good on the runway - just for a certain type of designer ie. Givenchy or Prada

I'm just curious as to why she decided to take a season off
