MEGHAN
“She needs to grow out the bangs and lose the punk thing. Underneath, she’s a beauty.”

I've always thought the same thing. I think Supreme were a great platform to get her career started and surround her with some buzz, but I think she should find a new agency and get rid of this typical Supreme bed-head look, it's getting boring.

I have to disagree with New York Magazine. Her bangs are what make her stand out in a crowd, so it'd be a shame to see her get rid of them.

The 'punk thing' is part of her personality; it's a shame that some people still want continually depersonalized, blank-slates. I for one would rather have a model with something unique, but then again I'm not a casting director (though he did end up using her for Zac Posen ).

I still don't understand the comments about a desire for her to leave Supreme though. Editorially speaking, she's accomplished more in her year-long career with Supreme than most models will in their entire careers.

I definitely think the 'punk' thing is a crucial part of her appeal, it's what makes her stand out and it will pretty much stay there with or without the bangs.. she just has it in the eyes.
having said that, the bangs do have to go for me to re-subscribe to this again :argg:.. I just feel like they've been explored, enjoyed, and then exploited.. they've been where a trendy haircut should be (Número and Pop!) and I think it is now time to move on and show more versatility as they're literally playing a curtain that's limiting her to one look only and selected stories when she's clearly capable of being more than just the epitome of a certain season or a certain mood in fashion. -_-

Too true. She creates a lot of emotion from peeking out from underneath those bangs of hers.

^ive been wondering the same thing! anyone have the magazine that would make my day and scan it :)

i think this is a preview of the vogue nippon editorial on her supreme portfolio:

colorama, thanks for posting that. Also, you can avoid the graphic line in the middle by printing her portfolio in a PDF (an option on the Supreme website) rather than screen capturing that page. :flower:

Having seen the editorial in person, I must say that Meghan's face looks sensational in that story (very dynamic). Corrine Day certainly seems skilled in her ability to soften Meghan ever so slightly, without losing her edge.

The topless shot with the red lips is by far the best of the whole ed. - it's divine. So chic. Supreme have been wise in their choices for the web.

It's a very classy editorial and shows that Meghan is very versatile but, for me, it's not earth-shattering.
