Yes, Meisel re-books Meghan (though he hasn't used her in awhile), but there is no way you can say that he's the "only one who supports her." She's accomplished a lot more in the two years that she's been modeling than most girls ever will.

At first she was just a one look kind of girl, but that cover is so different from the work we usually see from her. The makeup, hair, expression, and pose is so beautiful and glamorous. So happy to see her back in VI!

The nightlife scene of early 80s New York was a playground for club kids and jet setters alike and this month Steven Meisel recreates the fun for Vogue Italia. With Meghan Collison, Dorothea Barth Jorgensen, Julia Hafstrom, Nimue Smit, Lucas R, Sara Blomqvist, Marcel Castenmiller & Anna de Rijk playing party goers and Karl Templer’s authentic Reagan-era styling were in for a wonderfully retro ride. Granted, 1980s references have been done to death but there is something appealingly lighthearted about the youthful cast and their vibrant energy that enlivens every shot.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. I really wish that the image on the cover was larger and without that black border but beggars can't be choosers so I'm pleased.

I have to say, the VI cover is a bit of a let-down for me... dunno, I just expected a little more I guess. But still: amazing ed. Amazing Meghan And I cannot even say how much I adore these backstage shots of her. She looks so intriguing in every single one of them.
