Slightly off topic question, but why are the 'lesser known' PFW labels so slow to come out with pics?? Even LFW had much quicker coverage. It's such a shame coz there are a good few labels that I am dying to see!

Beautiful! Best collection from Melodie. I love the prints and the overall organic sense of fantasy...like being in some lush,enchanted forest. I can so picture Alison Goldfrapp wearing these clothes,if that's any indication

Susie,your query is one I feel we all wonder. I dunno. Maybe it's because some of these outlets feel they're less important than the bigger names? It's beyond me because so far everything strong I have seen have been from the ones that aren't getting all the glory. But then again,Bernhard had an installation-an alternative presentation,and it got alot of press.

i'm loving the skirts and the blouses. the second pic in the first post by Spacemiu is just fantastic, i love the length of the sleeve...and the prints. . everything, i agree it's one of her best collections, but more than that, it's such a refreshing show from all the boredom of this past 3 weeks (nyc, milan..even paris ).

susie, i would tentatively say that london has more publications geared towards the smaller labels (fuk is all i can think of for now) and because it's somewhat of a "college town." i mean, i know paris has studio bercot and the chambre syndicale but they are less press driven. and england loves to hype things up. but, i don't check the french press as often, so maybe i'm totally wrong.

Susie, there's not much to cover in London. The Paris schedule is really tough and I suppose the journalists working for more commercial medias have the pressure to skip a few lesser known designers to make it to the big shows. Young designers' slots in the sched are often super bad too, either early in the morning, during the lunch time or super late at night. It's a shame, but Paris isn't pushing the young ones with full effort...

It's even more gorgeous the second time. I love the theme and I love the tiered cape tops and the landscape imagery. It really kind of takes me back to some of those early Bernhard collections.
