Etro : I was sooo sure you bought the RafvsEastPack... But it's too big backpack for me ... and truly looks like a going-on-futuristic-trip backpack ... editorials didn't lie ...
but i like the philosophy behind it (maybe there's no philosophy behind it)...
in a bad urbanistic future vision go into the nature and think, breathe ...

oh c'mon, you don't think he thinks so much about the philosophies behind his purchases, do you?

and Ale, don't drag the Coco Cabas into it  except for the Vinyl version, it's not such a bad bag ;)

i've went through the thread ...
they are some good stuff ... some aren't that expensive, so it's cool !

Yes I bought one of the Raf Simons x EastPak "Material World" bags.

I got the all white one because I think it would be cool that as it ages and gets stains and marks on it, it is a blank canvas for the "journeys" that you've taken with it.
As for the size...they are BIG; but, being 6'2" I can typically do a bigger bag without looking like a bag is carrying me.
Re StreetALicious: I don't just blindly buy. I am fairly intune with design philosophies and what a collection is meant to entitle. It's part of my job.

Is the blank canvas idea the actual philosophy behind it? I like that idea.

Btw, nice shades. Where'd you geT?

everything is raf.

anyway,

I dont carry bags anymore because they're irrelevant. they ahve nothing to add to mens fashion, it's ******** carrying arounda fake me out Coco Cabas, it does nothing but make you look like a sissy. The new look Im going for is balls-to-the-walls sex appeal, and handbags are definitely not apart of this look.

Etro, lets be realisitc, youre not gonna wear tha tbag past this season. You know youre not. Youre such a victim next week you'll be lemming some new designer and claiming his POV is your POV, excuse me his "philosophy"

anyway,

Crying Diamants, my key style pieces are just TDF ****, basiaclly. **** that causes peopel to feel something. Electrical tape tanks from Dolce, Margeila jumpsuits, latex tank tops, Lanvin hightops, rick owens shorts, are my pieces du jour. I also wear alot of my Gaultier tops. because Jean Paul is the king of hyper masculine/hyper feminine. it's all about being just HOT, walking around in pretty much nothing while still being devastatingly tasteful. It's all about making people blush when they see you.

Im not playign with masculine/feminine anymore because it's not fresh anymore, it's all about hyper masculinity and hyper femininity. Its not about blurring lines its about drawing them. Men in a bodybuilder tank, rolled up denim cutoffs with a hightop, women in black herve leger tube dresses and sky high blahnix. Going out in public in lingerie, bringing fetish from the bedroom to the street (hence all the latex and hightops). hyper-sexuality. everyone is so sexless now a days, its refereshing to see anyone celebrate sex, becasue sex is far more interesting than being intellectual.

this look pretty much sums up the idea, hyper masculine, he's so brutal looking, btu his face is just gorgeous. so many thoughts go through my head about this one picture, it's so inspring.

I reference men like Tony Ward, and Peter Berlin. Hustlers are inspirational because of the self confidence required. Watch Hustler White and SS04 Galliano Homme too.

I need to find denim shorts that fit liek that...

Tony Ward, as well ...
you're watching Bruce La B. right now ?
I, too, am looking for a more male style ... but maybe a different version ...
...

about the "no bag at all", i'm doing it on nights (day version is already told...) and i'm feeling much well than i thought ... wth am i telling ? we don't care ... but i went from a clutch period to a nothing period on one night ... my chéri is soo hard on the clutch affair ... :ninja:

to have this short : have you tried cutting skinny (or stretch maybe ... if you're ready for stretch !) jeans ?
just hope your legs are muscled enough ... it can easily look stupid on a skinny boy ...
^oh well why not ... but not too skinny ... because you can go from strong male to nerd, non ?

Actually being an Ironman Triathlete I can say that running doesn't cut your legs. Look at runners, they have chicken legs.

But, boy do some people here like to talk!

I'd have to say that a grey leather bag is pretty seasonless and isn't subject to being "so last season"...Margiela jump suits on the other hand...

Smiths, I'll tell you what is refreshing: to hear someone who knows what they want, and knows how they want people to see them, instead of style free people like "well... I just sorta.. yuh-know.. buy what I like, really.. then spend five hours trying to make my hair look sort of ethereal."

In the 'Do you dress eccentrically?' thread you said about wearing short shorts with that embroidered McQueen blazer? That sounded tres hot.

Personal style will always trump fashion.

to get back on topic...

here is a bag i bought at felix in palermo soho

I reallly really love it... and it's very practical because it can be either carried as a messenger or a briefcase. which is great when your shoulders or arm gives out. the quality is so nice with this like as if it was made in europe. However, it was very reasonable by US standards (albeit very expensive for Argentina)

I def think it's true that some men don't need to carry such things, such as in cities like LA where you just drive everywhere. For me, in either Boston or Buenos Aires, I have to use one to carry all of my books, snacks, etc around.

^i really like this !!
they work the "boring student suitcase" very well !!
i like the "belts" around it ... it's like to prevent the stealing ...
if it's not too indiscreet : how much ?
