Men's Shorts

Because its so hot where I live, mostly everyone wears shorts everywhere. I think its cute.

there is a picture of thom browne wearing a shorts suit he made in the first fantastic man. he looks super amazing fantastic. other than that, i only really like the cloak and maybe miumiu that seeing double posted (bottom half only as well).

i wear shorts, but im not really keen on them.

theory has some great mens shorts, they are cut well and not pricey. i have 3 pairs of them.

i have to admit to owning the typical a&f style shorts too, but i try to not wear them out of the house. (they are too big for me anyways, a 28-30 waist always falls down)

Other than the old soccer shorts that I wear when I go running, I only have one pair. I hadn't worn shorts for a few years, but it was so hot when I studied abroad that I went on a mission to find some acceptable ones. I finally found some GF Ferre. They're black, just about knee length, slim. One leg has a crazy bit of pocketing. I haven't worn them yet this year. Maybe soon.

I'd like to have a few more pairs, but finding something acceptable is rare.

These are similar to mine, although a tad longer + w/o the pocket on the leg. I'm assuming they're from the same season.

where im from, its gets over 100 in the summer more times than not

because of that, most guys where shorts. it would be brutal if they didnt

I typically don't wear cargo shorts (A&F style) out in public but I definitely wear tailored bermuda shorts. I like them for the summer but sometimes I also wear wool ones with high boots in the fall....

I've considered buying the V&R and Willhelm shorts that Diorling posted, but I don't care for them enough to pay their current prices. Hopefully they'll sit around long enough to end up knocked down 30-50%!

There are a lot of articles out circulating right now about 'city shorts' on men. I quite like it when it's worn with a shirt and tie but it really has to be part of your style otherwise it just looks odd, imo. But I'm interested in reading the guy's thoughts around here

Someone mentioned the 'frat boy looking' long cargo shorts, and I had to laugh...at my high school, boys wear them all year round! In fact, I'm pretty sure that one of my good friends only owns one pair of pants and about three or four pair of 'frat boy shorts'...I've hardly ever seen him in anything else!

A reason I think I could not pull off shorts, my legs are so little and skinny. They look anorexic!

I NEVER wear shorts. They are mostly very ugly and very unflattering for me. Plus I cannot afford the ones that do look good. I also feel very uncomfortable in 'em and what I read about not being able to take anyone serious who does wear them... I share your feelings. Some people (not all) who wear them just look so ridiculous in 'em!

I know what you mean..........mine are weird. I have small and skinny calves, but thicker thighs.

I love the CdG shorts posted...I actually even like the B. Willhelm shorts too, even though Im his biggest opposer..

But, naturally, Im biased towards the Neil Barrett shorts..
