Question, and this may be dumb, but her title is Senior Marketing Editor I think. What exactly does that mean she does?

From my limited experience working at a magazine, I think a marketing editor's job is basically to see ALL the designer's collections, basically everything in the market for that particular season. They also liase between the PR companies and the stylist for the photoshoots... so she chooses a couple of things for the stylist who them streamlines it for thier specific photoshoot.

Really not my cup of tea, but compared to the other American Vogue girls shes a knock out... To me though, she always has just a little too much on. Like if you are wearing the striped wide leg trousers, don't put a print top on. Or if you have like three layers already, you do not need a fur scarf. I think she'd look great if she paired it down a bit. Also, besides her affinity for floral prints, her look lacks continuity.

funny i saw her in person and she is SOOOOO skinny, but I guess she isn't anorexic because her legs are fuller it seems.
i'm pretty sure in number 4, she is pregnant, because she had a baby in the past year I think

She is definitely naturally thin.

I can see what you mean when you say she overdoes some things, but I think she mixes prints/styles/looks quite well, and very unexpectedly too. You don't think it'll work, but strangely enough, it sort of does (well, to me anyway).

Valerie Boster is quite a bit younger than her but looks her age or even older

So from this, it doesn't appear that she had any well placed relatives who put in a good word for her, I think it's really refreshing to see she got there on her own (unless I'm proved otherwise by anyone else )
