Our Norwegian beauty Merethe and Dutch star-on-the-rise Svea made their New York debuts simultaneously yesterday on the rich grey of Calvin Klein's Fall/Winter 2011 runway. Wearing a trifecta of colors for their combined total of three looks, they both conveyed the confident sophistication that the brand is so intimately associated with. Both girls have been working closely with Francisco Costa and Camilla Nickerson over the past week as the looks for the collection finalized, and they were so excited to finally walk the show yesterday. We are just as thrilled as them!​

So, Milan is only a mere two days away. Any thoughts on how she will do?

I am anxious to see how JOY will market her in Milan this season. I am praying to God that they keep her exclusive, and go for quality over quantity. In my opinion, JOY should market her solely towards the major shows (and major casting directors). I really don't want to see Merethe at Krizia, Albino, Rocco Barocco, etc.

What do you guys think?

The first day of Milan is over and no sign of Merethe yet. I highly doubt she has another exclusive, but there could be different reasons for her absence today. I'll wait another day before giving further comments, I think.
