I can't believe I haven't been here for so long. I missed that thread badly.
So many great pictures, thank you so much for posthing everyone !

btw, Paris & Prince will appear at the Grammys.
The King of Pop's two eldest children will take the stage Saturday at the Special Merit Awards ceremony to accept a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for their father, according to CNN.

I'm kinda surprised 'cuz you know that Michael wouldn't have accept that but I've read that it was the children who wanted to appear, so I guess it's ok.
That's so random but I wonder what will Paris wear. I think she'll go with some shirt or things that would remind his father. I think that will be so emotional.

Just a picture I wanted to share. I don't know why but I think it's so beautiful, the lighting, the colors ... I love it.

Love that picture and I'm not sure how I feel about them showing up at the Grammys. I mean if they wanted to do so then fine, but I know if he were still alive he would definitely not want them there. I don't usually watch the Grammys but I will just to see the tribute.

^are the grammys over yet?
so the kids were not there at the Saturday ceremony, but what about the grammys itself?

Grammy itself is about to start in around 10 hours and this part where legends received their awards is over. Looks like children won't participate in it

Guys I am getting really excited about the tribute. Celine Dion, Smokey Robinson, J-Hud, Usher and Carrie Underwood? Sounds promising.

so proud of the kids!
they were so brave in coming out on stage and receiving the award on behalf of daddy...I feel like finally a posthumous award put in good hands (not mentioning anybody named Jermaine...)

man, once again the quality of Michael's vocals struck me (not like I haven't been struck before!)
We have Celine, we have Carrie and Jennifer, plus Usher and Smokey. These people are all great singers in their own rights, they certainly can belt their guts out especially Celine, I love Celine, but boy boy boy, they just PALED, they just paled next to greatness:heart::heart::heart:

^yeah, exactly. His voice always stands out, you always hear it, and that makes the song a lot better.
btw, I have just watched again, the acceptance speech of Prince and Paris, some people in the audience seem so proud of them, like Beyoncé. One of their cousins looks like is about to cry. And you can tell how seriously they prepared themselves for it, but they still have that emotion in their voices, especially Prince. I don't know how to explain that but I think they'll do great in their lives, they're well-educated. And don't you guys think that those children are beautiful ? Paris looks really good in film.
I wonder what will they do later, with their lives. Maybe, just socialites ? I don't know.

I swear, when Lionel announced their names my jaw would've dropped to the floor if I didn't have my retainer rubber bands. I was in kinda an annoyed mood since I didn't have 3-D glasses-was I the only one?-and I got a headache, but I really perked up. They've really matured since July. Prince has a low voice (is he 13 yet?) and speaks kinda like Michael, I noticed. Their speeches were simple yet meaningful... they're very brave, and I admire them for doing this.

^ Thanks for posting the YouTube videos! I loved the MJ tribute at the Grammys, it was really powerful. I thought that Prince spoke kinda like Michael too, both Prince and Paris spoke well, and were so brave and appeared so poised and eloquent, I also admire them for doing this:)
