WYBT still gives me chills every time i listen to it. what are your memories of WYBT? in grade school, i was maybe 8 years old? we had like a Free/Fun days since we didn't have any academic testing to do. so different classrooms had different activities like games, movies, crafts etc
my friends and i choose to watch a movie but it took so long to get everyone in order and go to the classroom that we missed a good chunk of Free Willy. i was soo mad because i hate missing the beginning of movies. so my friends and i ended up passing notes instead

at the end they played WYBT, everyone asking if it was MJ and one of the kids got a hold of the remote to check the song credits. i remember saying "this song should have been on the Lion King soundtrack" lol! which was one of my favorite movies when i was little, i even wore a Lion King shirt to picture day . i just love the vibe of WYBT, it makes me wanna sing NAAA SEVENYA BABA BITCHI BABA! HAYH HAYH HAYH...

The video is absolutely amazing, gives me goosebumps every single time I watch it.

WYBT and Million Voices is amazing, i've got a thing for those earthy / spiritual / gospel songs. they always stay with me and linger... it's like how they say scent recognition is so strong for memory, that's how i feel with music.

listening to WYBT brings me back, i remembered saying " YOU GUYS, IT IS MICHAEL JACKSON! come on, can't you guys tell? his voice is unmistakable!" you got a bunch of 8 year olds crowding around the tv, pausing the VHS tape, looking for his name in the song credits.

not long after MJ's bd, my co-worker 'Ben' said he saw a cute bb mouse in his garage. he told me he took it as a sign of Michael Jackson visiting him in mouse form . Ben is seriously having so much fun with this. as am i...

there is a Thriller cat in my neighborhood that really likes hanging out in my backyard that i've named Michael! adorable for a stray, i named the cat Michael because it's grey and has yellow eyes like MJ does in Thriller.

there was one night when i went to take out the trash and the cat was right outside the door. i said "Oh Hi Michael!" the cat didn't run away surprisingly, it just looked up at me with it's big moon eyes and Precious Moments expression probably thinking in it's head:

yesterday morning, when i was getting ready i was listening to WYBT and Million Voices, loudly as always. Michael the cat by the door in the backyard, probably listening too. i do find that some animals are attracted to music. a turtle i had would come out of it's shell and walk around ~groovin' whenever music was on! sometimes i find Michael the cat sitting on top of my car so i also think he's the culprit for always tripping my car alarm! what a little rascal!

Michael the Cat always stays close by. when i finally went out the door(sliding glass so he could see me inside), i thought he ran away because he went under the fence. but when i looked down, i could see him crouching down and his big ole eyes looking up from me from under the fence lol he be chilling under my car too. i have always have to check before i get in my car and shoo him away so he doesn't get flattened. but since he is a Thriller cat, he will probably re-inflate a la Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus

i think this is the best edit of the song into a video so far. i was hoping for a good Smooth Criminal one since i think he says "Blue Gangsta" but You Rock My World matches with the time period it was recorded in.
