thanks so much for posting everything, jelsoka, i really appreciate it!!

These clothes look like they're straight out of 1974. And I can't say that's a good thing here.

some beautiful dresses but some  tacky outdated st tropez colours and prints which i don't like, I don't like the bandana. Everything is soo.....St Tropez :ninja:
I think I'm more excited about the casting and come backs of certain models. The menswear is EXACTLY the same as SS07, nothing new for menswear...

^ Word of advice: you should upload your images to ImageShack or TinyPic. ;)

I remember back when he used to think of other destinations from St. Tropez....it offered a bit of variety.

This is so done. Nothing I haven't seen from him a million times before, and I hate the sherbert pallette.

Same thing he does all season, jet set, glamour, etc..

but I have to say.. he does what he does well..

I've lost alot of interest in Michael Kors since project runway.
but he doesn't win me over with this collection either. as been said some posts above, it's a bit tacky.
but the pieces are so well executed that I can't stop looking at them.

Well, someone has to dress them!
Although I don't think you can actually get Kors in Saint Tropez, more like Roberto Cavalli..Dolce...

This is NOT good
I really liked his collection last season, but all these crazy colours make the collection a little bit tacky

From what I can see, it looks a bit all over the place...I never quite got over the fact that he chastised one of the Project Runway contestants for having to much of a "story" to describe his design. It is the same thing I am sure we will hear Michael say about this. I'm hoping, for once, that Cathy Horyn at the very least writes the truth about this collection...

Does this look really dated to anyone else?
It's so...pastel!

Such a shame, I really liked the last Kors collection.

I dunno, even Galliano seems to be in on the late 50s-early 60s pretty pastel look with the last coture collection... I don't think we've seen the end of this trend.

Personally, I like this collection. Its very old school June Cleaver pretty.

I like what Im seeing so far, I actually like the colors they are summery and refreshing, loove that pistachio color dress on Carmen :heart:and the coral strapless dress on Lily, Im excited to see the whole thing:D

thanks so much for posting everything, jelsoka, i really appreciate it!!

you're welcome and thank you for the karma :flower:

i'm trying but sometimes that's not enough ... :S

Beautiful what i have seen so far. The pink, green and orange dresses are so fantastic:woot:. I really love it:heart::heart:heart::. The best collection for me so far.

I hate the kind of designers that only cater for that St.Tropez, jetset lifestyle. I don't find these clothes to be particularly in tune with our times and today's needs, but maybe it's just me not being part of that community.

Believe me that's why I stopped paying attention to NYFW two years ago.
