Those are all great photos and she looks so happy in herself as she aged.She's so pretty and I love her face structure and careless California style.Her beauty and aura seemed so carefree but then her life was ever so dramatic,hah.
It is a shame about Knots Landing.I love that show.I watched loyally,her and Nicolette!

^ I am holding out a hope for Knots on DVD....Warner Bros (Lorimar) just finished releasing the final season of 'Dallas' (of which Knots Landing was a spin off) and I have read the big studios are sort of running out of product from older popular series- so maybe they will get back to releasing Knots Landing again....They did the first few a couple of years back (Seasons 1 & 2) but of course Michelle didn't start the show until much later- Season 6 maybe? So let's hope they will put them out- or at the very least put it back on 'SoapNet' TV- I never saw Michelle on Knots!!

I just read John Phillips bio and have a new respect for Michelle. Chynna grew up well adjusted in comparison to her siblings. I also admire her taking in the other Phillips children when she thought they were danger. I read that Michelle and Mackenzie said there a lot of the book was made up, I wonder which parts because a lot of the things he talked about were in both Michelle & Mackenzie's bios. I'm guessing it was all the times Michelle supposedly begged him to take her back or maybe his sexual encounters with countless women, who knows.

^ Yes, it is all very hard to decipher at this point, since many of the people involved are dead now, and the contradictions are pretty major...factor in the fact that most of them were at least a little out of their minds half the time, and it becomes a mystery that may never be solved...But I was always impressed with how honest Michelle has been about her mistakes and her use of others, her own autobiography was one of my favorites; she seems like a woman that would be very interesting to spend time with, now a days, at least...And she certainly had some mysterious power over men- beauty aside, she was one of the most sought after women of her time!

I remember seeing her on Knots Landing. I started really getting into it when Michelle was in it, her daughter was played by Nicolette Sheridan. I hope they do show/release the episodes she was in. I would love to watch it again, I haven't seen it in so long that I forgot most of the story lines so it would be like watching for the first time.

^ I have found a "Gray Market" set of the entire series, but other than the cost I worry about the quality of the videos...I have a feeling it may be this or nothing at this point, and there were several crossover episodes with the Dallas characters, so I should just get it... Many of Michelle's films are available on VHS tape too I see, but...I don't think many of them were great films...
