It seems they went for a Mia Farrow 'Rosemary's Baby' type of layout and it just doesn't work for me. I really don't like how they made her out to be so fragile, she is a working single mother, she is strong. She always came across to me as a very strong but kind person. They should have done something a little bit more edgy with her, it would've made a bigger statement IMO.

I actually think that it works for this very reason... that even though she might look fragile, she's still a very strong, independent woman.

Are those pictures recent? As in has she chopped her hair off again? I assume they were taken back when she went for the crop? She suits pixie hair, and very few pull it off...

i think they were taken a while ago. i remember reading she was slated for a Vogue cover, had done the shoot and perhaps even the interview, and then heath passed away so the entire thing was shelved. i'm assuming they decided to go ahead with it now..and i'm glad they waited
