The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards

I knew he would win. They love him in Hollywood, because he's so "charming."
But for all I know, he deserves it. I haven't seen The Descendants, but I have seen Moneyball and Brad totally deserves to be winning SOMETHING for his performance. :(

I don't think I know any swear word in english that could define how I feel about George win. But I have to thank him for giving us ( at last) a glimpse of Michael Fassbender.

George????seriously?
Both Leo and Michael gave much stronger performances than George (didn't see Brad's movie).
such an ashame:angry:

REALLY!?! The Descendants!? What is wrong with Hollywood? Are they this obvious?!
I heard this movie was so overrated.

Seriously??? I thought it was either Hugo or The Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the SAGs and Oscars are different.

Here they went for all the cliche winners: Streep, Clooney, Scorcese, etc. Not that they didn't act well or make good films - BUT SO DID OTHERS.

Basically there were no surprises in the wins.

So Predictable - UGH!!!!

^I have to say I was very surprised by the Octavia Spencer, Matt LeBlanc, and Idris Elba wins, but other than that...they went the obvious route!

The SAG awards and Oscars better not follow this route.

I do want to see the The Descendants so I'm not going to judge just on Clooney.

I really hope the Oscar noms throw out some surprises.

Anyway the after show is on E right now FYI.

See ya next time :D

I'm really pissed right now and I truly hope this doesn't confirm anything for the Academy Awards. The SAG should show us what to expect but I'm worried.

So because you heard it was overrated, that must mean it is?

I'm a big Alexander Payne fan, looking forward to this even if I do find Clooney rather dull at times.

Overall, I'm not shocked by the winners, it's very typical of the GG. Although, I am a bit disappointed that a few surprises weren't thrown in. Let's hope the Oscars have some unpredictable noms/winners!

Also, to keep this fashion related, my top picks for best dressed go to Tilda Swinton, Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer (her gown really flatters her body type), and Shailene Woodley. I'll probably add more people to my list once I get a proper look at all of the looks. But I thought these four women all looked great.

Tilda did look quite good; her dress was lovely and interesting, as was she. There's no one like her.
