Paul Dano's currently directing a short movie starring Zoe Kazan and Eddie Redmayne. Anyhow, some of it is filmed in Michelle's home in Brooklyn.

I read that as well. If you go back to the post you'll see that it now says "a friend's bathroom," not "Michelle Williams' bathroom." Michelle, Paul, and Zoe are all in Meek's Cutoff and the title of Paul's film is Franklin and Matilda. It's been shooting in and around Cobble Hill (where Paul and Zoe live).

Since Michelle's been in Canada shooting Take this Waltz, I have to imagine that she's just helping out her friends, keeping them from having to find - and probably pay - for a shooting location. Just another example of just how nice and . . . genuine, I suppose, she's always come across to me as.

they're a very indie, arty clique - seems genuine, as you said, judging from this - which is a rare thing to see when it comes to these seemingly snobbish groups. i have hard time realizing these three are just 3-4 years apart, at first i was like: "awww, older artist is helping them", but then i saw they're in the same age group, not to mention friends.

I know what you mean! For some reason Paul Dano still seems so young to me. Maybe it's a combination of the fact that Paul still looks sixteen and because Michelle just seems older? She's got a very quiet, introspective thing goin' on.

I hope so. Any opportunity to see her and Ryan together, right?

Also, she seems to really support the work she believes in and she definitely seems to be making very calculated decisions about what she allows to take her away from her daughter . . . thus, more Michelle. Always a good thing.
