Michelle Williams is elegant for days at the MET Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress wore a custom Miu Miu black cady silk open back dress enriched with micro-sequin gold swallow embroidery and grosgrain bow details accenting the shoulders and waist.

The event is hosted by honorary chairs Salma Hayek, her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, and co-chairs Colin Firth, designer Stella McCartney and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Special performance by Florence And The Machine!

Indeed but with some of the atrocious outfits we saw last night I can't really say that I don't like it. That being said, I was uber excited last night because of all the fashion disappointment but today I can say that yes the dress is beautiful and Williams too, I am pretty haapy to see that she let her "very matrony/conservative side" a rest but it's nothing orgasm inducing..
