Michelle has been cast to play Glinda The Good Witch in Disney's new film Oz:

Michelle Williams will play Glinda, the good witch, in Disney’s upcoming film Oz, the Great and Powerful.

The 30-year-old actress will team up with James Franco, Rachel Weisz, and Mila Kunis in the new film, which will begin filming in July in Michigan, Variety reports.

Sam Raimi (Spider-Man 3) is directing the film and Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire (Rabbit Hole) wrote the script.

The film may hit the big screen as early as next year - Disney is hoping to have another successful reboot like they had with Alice in Wonderland.
