husband and wife duo of the Mike & Chris line seem to be venturing into handbags after gaining a cult following of their leather hooded jackets and hip vintage styling. I've never seen their stuff in real life, but this could be interesting....

anyone have any experience with these bags? seen em? own them? what do you think? i'll have to fid some pics...

^^ jun3: seems like our tastes in brands are similar :) I love mike&chris for their clothes..but never had a chance to see or feel their leather and bags in person (only online).

their prices are not cheap by any means...I know them more for casual wear...so having bags priced at $750USD and clutches at $500+ seem a bit steep.... if the leather is excellent..then i suppose it can be justified...but they do not seem to specialize in leather nor are they really a fashion house. the style of their bags are casual and easy to wear...but not extremely unique in design.

Austin large antiqued leather saddle bag $875

So far...not too impressed by their styles...and price.

That first bag is a cross between Marc by Marc jacobs and Andrew Marc...

I never saw the sense in the price tag though.
