Every size conversion says something different
My size is 37 and some sites say thats a 6. Other sites say 6 is a 36 and a few sites say its a 36.5 or 37.5

^ I am having that problem. I'm a UK 4 which makes me a 6.5 a 5 and a 5.5 on different sites/charts :/.

i hate to say this, but i just bought the three tiered fringe boot on urbanoutfitters.com after i saw a pic of lauren (LC) wearing them. she is def not my style icon, but they looked really cute on her!

I have those shoes, and I wear them all over in all sorts of weather with no problem. Although it seems like the sole will wear out, they really just sort of toughen up and form their own sort of "sole" on the bottom. If you're really worried about them looking dirty on the bottom, then I wouldn't wear them outside much especially in the rain, but I wear mine everywhere and they still look pretty nice!

Just ordered my 4th pair of Minnetonka's today! I have the dusty brown kilty hard sole, storm blue thunderbird soft sole (because I hated the white soles), brown fringe/stud boots & today got black back zip booties hard sole for me & got my mom the same in storm blue.
I LOVE Minnetonka!

I received my shoes today, I really like them They are a little bit big, but I'm glad I ordered this size, because a size smaller was probably too small.

Yay I received my order yesterday!

I am returning the first pair b/c they are slightly uncomfortable and I feel I will never wear them. I did order the zip-up fringed booties, and they will be arriving tomorrow!

And packed away in a teeny shoe box with the above moccasins was the most amazing keychain ever:

I was beyond excited to attach it to my keys!

i have the same.

and the problem with the sizes. normally i have a 39, i don´t know the american size. but in the minnetonkas i have a 7.
i bought them in a shop, a the woman told me, i have to buy them a little bit smaller as i usually wear.
she was right.
they fit perfectly.
going to buy the next pair in a few days.

being customized. The soles of these are so crappy compared to my other two Minnetonkas and they're hardsoles.

I really want a pair of softsole moccasins as well. :K

so if i am a true EU 38.5 would i need to order a size 7 in them?
it is quite urgent as i am ordering now so any advice greatly appreciated

^ you might size down a bit. i just received my fringed low boots, and they're about a half size too big. i'm normally a 7/7.5, and i should have gotten a 7.

i think it may depend on the kind of sole the shoe has, as well. if it's a soft sole, it'll probably stretch a bit more, so you might be safe going on the small side.

anyway, i'm not sure that i'm going to keep the boots. it's cute and comfy and cheap, but i'm afraid i look stumpy in it.

i'm between a 37.5 or 38, usually. i don't get the kinds of (fabulous!) shoes that you get, but for reference:

I'm normally 8 or 8.5 and in Minnetonkas I wear an 8 and it fits perfectly.
I have the majority of the boots in tan and black...
They're so perfect!
