Minnetonka Moccasins

Are the soft soles made for wearing indoors only? So wearing them outdoors would be a huge no-no?

Not a huge no-no. I wouldn't recommend wearing them outdoors often, but they're quite sturdy. That said, my rubber-soled ones didn't last very long outdoors either :ermm:

I bought a pair of fringed black moccasin boots from Topshop before Christmas and have worn them with everything.I even wore them at a very muddy Leeds festival, washed them, and they are fine :)

They were a great cheaper alternative at just £30,but i would still like to buy some proper minnetonka ones though,as they go with everything

Just wore my new ankle trampers to go shopping and they have ripped my feet to shreds. Taken the skin off my heels and little toes - I am in agony! Anyone else have this problem? Does it get any better?

lizardlove, sounds like you have a real problem. My trampers are very sturdy-soled yet comfy. Maybe, you just need to break yours in a little more... that or they're just not meant for you.

I got trampers recently and they're killing my ankles and my little toe. I'm hoping it's just that I need to break them in more. I might try some insoles too.

When reading the title of this thread I had to think about a picture I saw at styleclicker.net:

I don't know what overcame me but I just bought 2 pairs of Minnetonkas from shoebuy for $109 total :) Free returns too but I highly doubt I'll return them! I've been meaning to purchase some for about 2 years now..

Got these in brown

These are so comfortable but I noticed lately the soles on the driving sole are thinner and they are made more shabbily. Also the dye tends to run when wet.

im thinking of getting some brown short fringe ones..how is the sizing?

^David Z. Many of the massive shoe stores all over the city carry minnetonkas. :)
