MODEL eats - that was the thunderous observation made by awestruck diners at Otto restaurant yesterday, when David Jones beauty Miranda Kerr stormed back on to the Sydney social radar.
Noshing at the Woolloomooloo hot spot, Kerr ate her way through a bout of jet lag, ploughing through two courses of pasta and a serve of barramundi.
Not only genetically-blessed, the catwalk darling timed her exit for an afternoon facial appointment just before the exposed Finger Wharf crowds were rained out.
Arriving late on Saturday night, Kerr slept in, after the long-haul flight from Paris, where she mixed business with pleasure.
The lingerie model joined her fellow Victoria's Secret "angels" on a TV commercial shoot on location in a French chateau.

Once the fantasy assignment wrapped, Kerr made the most of the romantic setting with actor boyfriend, Orlando Bloom.
The 25-year-old won't see her leading man until after her retail duties are complete, including her debut on the catwalk for DJs in Sydney on August 5 - with Bloom's own booming film career rumoured to be clouding plans for him to sit front-row.
