Miranda Kerr

Yeah, definitely magazine covers; she's a model. But the whole empire thing isn't working out... I just don't think her and her team executed it (Kora) very well. There's been almost no advertising, she has released ads but they haven't been seen in Australian magazines, she didn't do any launches, no TV ads. She just didn't promote it.

I'm curious to see if her book will be popular... I hope she backs that up properly.

I agree about it be unreasonably priced. I mean almost 60 bucks for one skincare item?? The general public can't afford stuff like that! I think if the price got lowered then it could be a hit, I know I want everything on the site but definitely couldn't afford it^_^

^ The video has been removed! :( Do you know where else I can see it?

^ KARMA May! Thank you! :woot::kiss:

They didn't photo shop the cover as much as I thought. They just had such a different look on her. The makeup/hair really suits her.

^ Indeed!

I was looking through Mirandanow.com press archieve section, and I stumbled across this article. Probably my favorite articles ever written about her.
Every fashion week, one or two models stick in your head when you run into them over and over at the shows and get a little glimpse into their personality. One of the models who grabbed our hearts this season was Miranda Kerr. ModaFoto met Miranda at Cia Maritima, fell in love with her innocent look at Twinkle, then ran into Miranda again at Jason Wu and ThreeAsFour.
Backstage in the tents at Jason Wu as she grabbed a quick bite before makeup, I asked Miranda where she was from. Miranda pointed to her feet and made a little scooping motion with her hand. I had no idea what she meant. After finishing her bite, Miranda sweetly explained that she is from down under. We’ve always heard that Australia is a beautiful country. When Miranda looks in your eyes, you can see why.
 She is flippin' adorable. I can't love her more, other wise my heart would explode with admiration. :ninja: :crush:

LOL at her "sign language", that is too cute. I think she seems like a genuinely sweet girl. I wish she would do more runway shows. I think she looked at amazing at Balenciaga.

^Miranda is such a cutiee! I loved how she explained it to the journo

Mahaliababy - though models apparently don't 'sell' well on magazine covers , thats why I say Miranda is an exception ;) [I mean in Australia she sells magazine covers]

I agree if it weren't for the few updates on tFS I wouldn't have known about KORA at all.. it had very poor marketing and low visibility in Aust. Perhaps thats why they keep pushing the book release back.. to wait when Miranda has time to promote it?

Me too! It would be great to see more runway. Especially after seeing her in Balenciaga. ^_^

Yes- she has done literally no promotion for KORA except for a few mentions. :ninja: Yeah, I think you are right about her book. I for one, want her to focus more on modeling for now.

I don't think Kora is unreasonably priced. They've marketed it as organic designer skincare, and it's quite reasonably priced as far as those standards go. I have the balancing mist and it's a really gorgeous product. I would definitely buy more from the range.

^ True, I've not seen it advertised anywhere but online... She has mentioned in in a few interviews, but never an interview just about the product range from what I've seen.

She did one full phone interview about it, but that's all I can remember. It just baffles me that she and her team expect it to do well when she hasn't done any launches or made any effort to publicise it, and from the little reviews we have (yours included) they seem like they're worth backing up! The only reason I could fathom for not advertising properly, is that she's waiting to release it to international markets.

That defiantly makes sense. That's what I think too.

I must say, btw, Miranda is the queen of being cheesy. These cracked me up!:lol:

Interesting story.

HUSH understands Miranda Kerr’s management is not happy with ACP Magazines. An insider close to the Australian supermodel says Kerr and her team aren’t happy that her images have been used on the covers of magazines including Ralph, Cleo and, most recently, this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine, without them being contacted.

It’s common practice to seek approval on cover images, but it does depend on who owns the images and whether or not the models have waived their right to approval.
“Miranda is really upset and feels exploited by these unauthorized covers and the associated media publications,” the source told Hush. “It is things like this that jeopardize her positioning and creditability.”
Kerr’s personal publicist, Carlii Lyon, wouldn’t comment on the issue. ACP did not return Hush’s call on Friday.

Ahahah  So true she is often so flirtatious in interviews too.. But I think its cute and funny^_^ (especially when it's directed to Rove)

^Yes, her Rove interviews were always my faves. She's just a laid back girl, with a mischievous side.
