Miranda Kerr

Minutes after appearing in Balenciaga’s bold runway show Miranda Kerr sat down with vogue.com.au for an exclusive chat at the Hotel Costes in Paris.
So how do you feel after the Balenciaga show?

It’s such a great show to do because the entire team make you feel so welcome. Nicolas Ghesquiere is so talented. It’s such a special show to be a part of. The clothes are incredible.

You also appeared in Balenciaga’s show last season. What are the demands of appearing in Paris?

Well at Balenciaga there is incredible attention to the details to get the look just right. But I understand that attention to detail because I’m a bit of a perfectionist myself.

The shoes looked like a bit of a challenge...

But they’re so beautiful. Each one is a work of art. A square heel can be tricky but they were just amazing to look at.

You also appeared in Milan exclusively for Prada. What was that show like?

Miuccia Prada is such a warm and friendly person. She really made me feel at home. It was my first time in a Prada show, which was quite special. It really helped that I loved the dress that I walked in.

So what else have you been up to in Paris?

Last night there was a party for US Vogue with Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington and Mario Testino. It was wonderful getting to meet Anna, who was just lovely. I’m going to be photographed for US Vogue by Patrick Demarchelier so it was a great introduction. The only other models at the party were Sasha Pivarova and Liya Kebede so I really felt honoured to be invited.

What’s next?

I’m heading to Los Angeles for some work with Victoria’s Secret.

I’m also really excited about my Kora range. We’re going to be launching some new products and the packaging is going to be refreshed.

Your face lights up when you talk about Kora. Why do you love this part of the business so much?

I think everybody needs something that they can feel passionately about. I really believe in the products and it lets me be creative in a different way than modelling.

How do you cope with all of the travelling?

It can be confusing. Sometimes you’re not sure whether to be attempting to speak French, Italian or Japanese.

Miranda has an editorial in US vogue!!!! I guess things with Anna W went really well!!! :buzz::buzz::buzz:

Christy Clements is probably thinking, "Yes, I'm giving Miranda a cover now!"

I was also thinking she has really small feet - how tall is she really? A 37 is not that big...

I am kind of disappointed by her candid outfits in Paris. I was really inspired by her looks the last time she was there, this time not so much :ninja:

I wonder what repackaging they will be doing with the KORA range? I really love how it is now! Looking forward to seeing what she does with Vogue AU soon...

I think she can have a successful HF career if ever VS drops her, she already looks like one body-wise plus she seems to be well-supported.

aw Randa is so cute in the video-didn't know she could just do the splits like that! lucky Orlando!

I've been thinking that this year has been her most successful by far. She's had more success in 3 months then in ten years of modeling...

*12 page editorial for Vogue Russia by Willy Vanderperre
*A spread in LOVE magazine
*An editorial for i-D!
*Exclusive for Prada and Balenciaga
*8/9 covers
*Possible (Kind of obvious) cover for Vogue Aus.
*Shooting for US Vogue!
* Plus 'more exciting projects' that she seems to be very hush-hush about.
And on top of that, I think VS renewed her contract, right?

Anyways, if this is all the work she's been doing in three months, then I can imagine her being huge by the end of the year. She's already in the good books of people like Anna Wintour and Nicolas Ghesquiere.
I never thought I'd see Miranda doing this well.

Her hair looks lighter in that video? Has she dyed it or was it shot before she did that dark color?

Here is the video of Miranda with the Collingwood boys...

I want her to be in US Vogue! she suits it so well-she can jump, smile,be edgy,innocent,sexy...way better then most other models! Plus her articles are always so good!

Here is her interview on the morning show in Australia. She gives the same sound bites and quotes all the time. The sunflower comparison to the rose, the 80% 20%, the steak pie, fried chicken and lindt balls... Always the same
