Miranda Kerr

Miranda can blab forever about the benefits of veggies, she is so adorable and her accent is totally charming.

She looks great in this video, it's for the Chicago Social shoot...

Thank you Belowen for all the videos. :flower:

Her hair looks lighter in that video? Has she dyed it or was it shot before she did that dark color?

It was shot before she dyed her hair darker. :flower: I can't keep up with Miranda's hair color these days, though.

I want her to be in US Vogue! she suits it so well-she can jump, smile,be edgy,innocent,sexy...way better then most other models! Plus her articles are always so good!
Totally agree.

Here is her interview on the morning show in Australia. She gives the same sound bites and quotes all the time. The sunflower comparison to the rose, the 80% 20%, the steak pie, fried chicken and lindt balls... Always the same

I noticed that as well, she's practised her answers well. But then Lindt Balls are heaven indeed.

Thank you! Wow, she really looked perfect for Balenciaga this season! But you can see she is struggling trying not to smile in the last picture. Oh, Miranda.

True, true.

Miranda Kerr needs no introductions.

The hard-working 26-year-old model who hails from Gunnedah, NSW and lives in New York City is the face of David Jones fashion, one of the Victoria’s Secret angels, has modelled for names including Balenciaga, Roberto Cavalli and Fendi and has graced the covers of countless magazines including a very memorable nude shoot for Rolling Stone.

You’d expect things to be very much ‘‘diva hits ground zero’’ when Miranda arrived for our fashion shoot but things couldn’t be further from the truth. Her only request? “Can we play my iPod?” she asked in a sweet voice.

Working like a complete professional, Miranda let her inner playful self out between shots. She managed to incorporate a bunch of props sitting on a table nearby including a bizarre mannequin hand into the shoot, put on a killer Kath & Kim voice and even broke out with a rousing rendition of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 – while flicking through the mag.

It’s this down to earth vibe that has become Miranda’s signature and has propelled her popularity even further into the stratosphere – even into the financial high rise fortress of Macquarie Bank, where banker David Kiely flashed a racy Miranda picture on his computer during a news crossover.

“There is always some kind of thing going on in the media isn’t there,” Miranda says. “I was relieved he didn’t lose his job because of it. For me, it was just a beautiful shoot I did with GQ and someone had obviously sent it to him on an email. So, what can you do?”

Turning up to the shoot in Sass & Bide jeans, a Bianca Spender jacket and YSL shoes, Miranda looked every inch the model and talk soon turned to winter fashion.

“I always love winter!” she said.

“This season is great because not only do we have neutrals like camels and slates but there’s been an infusion of colour like poppy red from Bianca Spender, and Carla Zampatti is loving purple and mauves. A neutral palette infused with bright colour. Who wants to be dull and grey? Colour is something I really believe in, colours can be really uplifting.”

Miranda’s tips include getting yourself a great statement jacket, a fantastic pair of jeans and some show-stopping ankle boots. “It’s all about the ankle boot this season,” she says.

Though she calls New York City home, the girl from Gunnedah returns to Australia frequently for David Jones and always has to catch up with her immediate family and grandparents (while scoring some local designer pieces along the way).

Being approachable and friendly is just part of who this girl from the country is.

“Sometimes I get shocked with the way people see me as higher than themselves. For instance the lady who was cleaning my hotel was like “Miranda it’s such a pleasure to meet you, and I’m like, ‘no it’s a pleasure to meet you’.

“When people come up to me and want photographs or autographs in the beginning it was a bit bizarre, but now I’m like well if it makes you happy then of course I’ll do it. Why not?”
