i don't think it's so much that VS has dropped Mir because she's not popular, she simply is no longer a new, up-and-coming model that can bring something new to the brand. I think it's safe to say that Miranda has an established career in modelling, and now that she has a husband as well as a child, I really wouldn't be surprised if she wants to focus more on family than investing further in her career.

If that were the case, why would Alessandra and Adriana still be there? They are married mothers who stopped being up and coming models since before Miranda joined VS.

I think it's most likely that Miranda has other priorities than Ale and Adriana. She has been working less than (most of) the other Angels with children.
E. g. she didn't shoot the last two VS Holiday Commercials without any obvious reason.

It seems like some of the reasons for David Jones to quit working with her were that she wanted to work less (one show instead of twice) and travel less (all shootings in the US) while demanding more money.

Maybe VS decided to not renew her Angel contract because of similar reasons and decided to rather work with her on special occasions like the VSFS only.

I think the other poster was trying to say that she wasn't let go because of a fabrication that she's a diva.

He also confirmed that the contract was ended because of a difference in priorities. I don't think it makes sense to compare Miranda to Adriana and Ale. Yes, they all have children but Miranda has always worked more with brands outside of VS. That includes her endorsements with Mango and Reebok. Miranda also has a skincare line...basically she has her own empire. Adriana and Ale don't have that.

Also, Miranda is married to Orlando who is probably just as busy or if not more busy than Miranda. Orlando is also far more busy than Adriana and Ale's husbands. I'm sure part of this involves Miranda wanting to stay as close to Flynn as possible. I don't see Miranda as the type who would let a nanny cook Flynn's meals etc..

The 30-year-old model’s rep released a statement to JustJared.com, given by Ed Razek, President and Chief Marketing Officer at Victoria’s Secret, to set the record straight.

“Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business – and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumors to the contrary are simply untrue,” Ed said. “While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we’d like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me. I think it's so odd that some posters are saying it's her choice. A model as clearly in love with herself as Miranda would NEVER choose to see less of herself in magazines, stores, catalogues, etc. Girlfriend has been let go probably because she had too many demands and VS didn't think she was worth it, which she isn't. And anyone who says she's not a diva, let me point out that this is a woman who nitpicks paparazzi photographs of her. She has literally stopped paps and asked them to delete unflattering shots of her and has even posed for them so that they could get a better shot. I can only imagine what she's like when she's actually working.
