MIRANDA Kerr will bring a little sex to summer in the city when she makes her catwalk debut for David Jones on Tuesday night.
In statement shoes, florals and frills, the Gunnedah-bred model will replace Megan Gale as the face of the retailer for its summer 2008 collection launch.

Kerr, who was propelled to new modelling heights after starring in a Victoria's Secret lingerie show, arrived back home last weekend for the summer in the city parades minus beau Orlando Bloom.

But rumours that she had split from her actor boyfriend and taken up with American oil heir Brandon Davis were firmly scotched by the 25-year-old beauty, who confirmed they were very much in love and were looking forward to spending time together when she returns to her home in New York.

"He's working on a movie, but hopefully we will be able to co-ordinate our schedules so we can spend some time together,'' she said.

Kerr was with Bloom in Paris, where she was shooting a Victoria's Secret advertisement on location at a French chateau, before jetting into Sydney.

The DJs catalogue, out last week, features Kerr on location in Rio de Janeiro, flaunting the clothes, lingerie and swimwear of some of the nation's best designers.
The must-haves for summer? Florals, prints, sheer dresses, over-the-top accessories, biker jackets, bold colours and anything white.

Kerr spent last week at fittings for Tuesday night's show.

it's so funny, but as soon as she mentioned Natalia, i immediately saw the resemblance between the 2 of them. never noticed it before ... but once she put that thought in my head and especially in the photos posted thereafter --- it's hard to miss.
