Miranda Kerr

Aw, I really wanted to buy her book but with shipping costing $30 (more than the book itself) I just didn't want to spend that much money on it... hopefully one day her book makes it overseas so I can buy it! I love the affirmations she has put into it and I think there's a lot of valuable things to read about and to instill in our everyday lives. It reminds me a lot of my yoga practice, really. :)
Thank you for the scans WerbowyStegner and Mirik!! :)

I just received my copy of "Treasure Yourself". The book has a beautiful cover, it is like satin very nice to see. I haven't read it yet, so I can't give any review, but I wanted to share with you a quote from the acknowledgements of the book:

To my partner. Your wisdom and integrity constantly inspires me. Thank you for your unconditional lov, acceptance and understanding. And for touching my life in the most magical way.

This is a very sweet dedication....

Aaaaw brings tears to my eyes sooo sweeet.

I also love the photos when she was a kid..lovely
such a beautiful face!

OMG she must be pretty devastated, her dress must have been beautiful

Quote from Miranda's Facebook
Hi guys, I wanted to ask for your help... In July American Airlines lost my luggage and I have been trying to locate it ever since. Unfortunately the luggage had my wedding dress in it plus other things that I hold so dear. Has anyone else experienced losing luggage through American Airlines and if so did you ever locate it again? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Love Miranda xxx

I'm pretty sure there are very slim chances of getting it back, she also said she has been looking for it for a while, so I think some one found it and sold all her things :( people are sick at the sight of money. I mean that dress has to be worth alot

^Whoever found it wouldn't have known it was Miranda's and probably sold it for next to nothing.

I think they might have known... Because airport luggage has a tag with the owners name on it.

It might not though. 'Cause someone could recognize her name and steal it. Maybe that's what happened...

Unfortunately people lose their luggage all the time, it happened to my dad recently and it's normally the fault of the airline. Maybe this is a sad consequence of someone else's incompetence.

That sucks, if it had her wedding dress in it it probably had other mementos from the occasion. Poor girl

oh gosh how terrible. i would be devastated if i lost my wedding dress, i can't imagine how she feels. i do hope she gets it back however the chances are extremely slim :(

^Nope. Appart from the stomach, her body looks like it hasn't changed at all.

 at the lost luggage, especially the wedding dress.

I haven't had it happen to me and I did not travel on American, but this is my two cents from when I traveled:

  • How was it lost? non-stop flight? plane change? international flight?
  • What did the airline say, e.g., do they think someone picked it up by accident or do they think it got mis-routed and is still in their system?
  • Was the luggage unique looking or the kind of luggage that everyone has? For future reference, if you have ubiquitous luggage, try to make it distinctive, even if you have to put brightly colored Christmas ribbon or yarn on the handle or zipper loops or something.
  • I know that unclaimed luggage gets sold eventually, and since quite some time has passed, she (or her assistant) needs to be pestering AA about it every day. She needs to pester them to the point where she will be transferred out of the general customer service center and to baggage handling / lost luggage, the goal is to get someone to actually go to the place where unclaimed luggage is stored and look for her luggage.
  • If it was a multi-leg flight, then she needs to speak to baggage handling at each of those stops. Also, if old tags were on the luggage, then she needs to be in touch with that airport too. For example, if the flight in question was from New York to Los Angeles with a stopover in Chicago, and the previous week she went from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and the tags were still on, then she needs to be in touch with the baggage handling folks in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Also IIRC, Dallas and Chicago are AA's hubs, and maybe San Francisco, so she should first "retrace" her steps, which will hopefully be successful, but if not then fan out to the hubs.
  • Since she is a celebrity and is married to a celebrity, I wonder if LAX (or the airline) has some kind of concierge or VIP point person, if so, she should contact them and see what advice they have.

WOW agee you seem to know alot about lost luggage I hope she finds it.were her weddings pics ever posted i never saw them?I would have like to see her dress .Maybe the person who found the luggae was getting married saw the dress and thought it was a sign fom god.so kept it.

Her wedding photos were never released.^ She's keeping them private. Colette Dinnigan designed her dress.
Damn. Her wedding dress is gone.:( That's upsetting. I'd be suing mad.

Appearance in W? That explains Stefano at the VI event.
