Miranda Kerr

So we know that Miranda was used in quite a few Vogue Aus editorials when she was young in the 2004/2005 period but then wasn't used again until her novelty cover in 2010... Is it because Kirstie developed a dislike for her or just because she doesn't like VS girls in general? Although, she uses Jess Hart, Abbey, etc frequently. I wonder if there's some bad blood between them. There's no reason that a model of Miranda's magnitude wouldn't appear frequently in her home country's Vogue. Especially when that Vogue isn't exactly top of the game.

Anyone else find it foreboding that she's changed her facebook title thingy from "model" to "person"? She's said repeatedly that she only sees this as a short lived career and that it was mostly her way of reaching more people for her real interests. Makes me wonder if she's planning to come back at all post baby.

^ That worries me too. It'd be such a shame with all the recognitions she's been receiving now after so many years of working hard.

^ me three, I'm worried. I mean right now she is at her best :( It would be heartbreaking if she quit :(

She might come back to finish her contracts at David Jones and VS, and then just continue with being an author and a... skin care line owner? It would be a real shame if she did quit, but I always got the impression she kind of liked modelling.

It did seem that she enjoyed it, but most of the interviews I've seen of her she's talking about how she doesn't want to keep doing this forever and it's a short lived career and she always wanted to do nutrition and to change the world etc. So I'm wondering... it would suck though. I love seeing her in the VS ads and on billboards etc. I'm not interested in many models at all so I would definitely be bummed.

I would be so upset if she decided to not continue modelling. She's really given herself a name in the US so I hope she bounces right back after the pregnancy and when her baby is ready. She's looking gorgeous, though. I hope I look as half as good as she does if I'm pregnant.

Also does anyone have the scans from Russell James's V2 book? I found the original post in the other thread but only 3 are still up the others were removed. I hadn't gotten to see them yet. Thanks :)

I'm sorry but she just has to return to modeling. It's what she does best. She just was made to model. She's got no hosting qualities whatsoever and she's got no background or knowledge to publish anymore books (I've read "Treasure Yourself" and enjoyed it a lot but there was nothing in it that was new to me at all). She's a beautiful woman with an appropriate physique. If she wants a career that doesn't rely on her looks she should put some more effort into it, study some more and most of all keep her nipples away from the camera and make it all seem a little more sincere. She sure is a smart young woman, she just has to learn to present herself as one. (And I'm sorry to say this, but even in this century ad age sexy and smart don't together. No one watches the VS show or reads their catalogues because they want to see smart woman almost naked. They are fine with what skin they get to see and don't care about the rest...)

Was that your rant of the day or something? Not sure why you posted that. I disagree with everything, and I think your assessment of her nude works is a little mean spirited.
