Thank you so much Preahya!
I picked up Spur while I was over in Japan, and I gotta say, I loved it. Although some of the styling was to conversative & reserved for me (the 30 days, 30 dresses ed is such an example), I loved the sheer number of eds & the incredible contrasts in layout & style between Japanese & British - small things like reading from right to left left me feeling amazed & seemed to make the magazine so much more fun and enjoyable.
The Louis Vuitton booklet that came with the magazine was a fun flick through as well - although it was not enticing to see the elegance of Louis Vuitton in the 60's being carried by Audrey Hepburn, only to be greeted with a giant monogram wardrobe completely decked out with monogram-print lining & monogram shelves, with the caption "Louis Vuitton now". I've lost complete respect for LV for conjuring up the business plan to flog such complete tasteless rubbish in people's faces.
I'm going off-topic!... I guess what I'm trying to say, in conclusion, is that I loved Spur. It was utter brilliance. I wish I could still pick it up where I live here in the UK... but that would be more difficult than getting my hands on a piece of the true grail... so if anyone wants me to scan anything out of it, I'd be more than happy to!
