^^ Lovely ad. The colours in this campaign are really gorgeous. I love how there's a reddish tint in Katie's hair. Can't WAIT to see these clothes and accessories in stores.

LOVE the colors. That's the best thing going on in this ad so far. And I do love the fact that it looks like there might be some Caligulan orgy going on outside the image that Katie's facinated/repulsed by. It really does have a bit of atmosphere.

I don't even really mind her here since she kind of does look like a model. I'm not saying it's a great shot of her, but it works.

totaly agree about the fact it has this peplum vibe ....

This wasn't a rumour, the models were on set with Katie Holmes. If you go through some of their threads, you'll find information about it.

For example, Myf Sheperd was on set with Katie Holmes and talks about it in one of her interviews!

Perhaps they'll be using it for something else. I find it hard to believe they would go to the trouble of casting, shooting and paying all those models for no reason.

I really hope so! I was so excited to see the models!

About the campaign, I´m still not convinced about Katie, but the pics themselves are wonderful - the colours are simply delicious!

^ I hope so too. I was waiting to see the models and all I saw was Katie so I was disappointed. With the beautiful backdrop and colors, it would look great with the group of models cast. Fingers crossed!

Talking about naive:

Bianca posted the following in the f/w 09 campaign thread:

Well we know that Abbey Lee Kershaw already has four Gucci campaigns under her belt. But according to Kershaw’s Australian mother agency, Chic Management, Gucci has just shot Kershaw again for the Fall/Winter 0910 campaign – and this time she is joined by another Australian Chic stablemate, Myf Shepherd. Given Gucci’s trademark multigirl campaigns, the Australians are unlikely to be the only models. Shepherd has now walked in three Gucci shows/presentations – most recently in February, as part of her blockbuster sophomore Ready To Wear season, which embraced 62 shows. And Gucci is Shepherd’s second big luxury campaign get – after shooting Miu Miu’s SS09 campaign last November. At this stage, the only Miu Miu SS09 campaign images to surface are those starring Katie Holmes. It’s possible that other images will emerge in the coming months. In the event that that Miu Miu sticks with the standalone Holmes shots, Shepherd was definitely shot, and paid, for the gig according to her agency - and reportedly alongside seven other models. Kershaw and Shepherd are not the only Chic Management girls booking SS09 campaigns. Sarah Stephens has just shot the Benetton campaign with David Sims and is confirmed to shoot the Diesel campaign in Slovenia next week.

I just don't get it. What would be the sense of making the hype about the models, and then really shooting the models and then NOT releasing the pictures? Miuccia could at least have them posted on tFS
