i think it's wise what Next is doing. i think they specifically try not to cast her as a token 'race model' who does the standard 'luxury LVMH affiliate' yuppie-consumerism thing. that role is too limiting & too degrading for someone like Mo whose range is far wider than what nationality or consumer trend one pigeonholes her into. now she's at level playing field with the rest. shes not a 'chinese model', but a 'model'. race is such an outdated way to see things anyway, what matters now is demeanor & attitude. there's a reason she's chosen to open a show when she barely did her 3rd.. her presence basically blows all the other biatches' popsickle stands upside down sideways... and i hope she's one of those 'best kept secrets' for now.
i'll guess what shows she'll do:
Costume National
LV
Valentino
Jil Sander (wishful thinking! but hey if girls like BrunaTenorio with ohso-cutecute-prettypretty-faces-but-no-substance can land it, Mo doing the minimalism look is way edgier, just look at how the lights fall on her face)
Armani
Cavalli
you get the idea
