some of you keep saying how shes not a 'girl', how 'sexy or womanly' she is and whatever the hell normal people find appealing but i feel like defending her a bit. Mo is tomboyish, blunt, kid-like & makes some hilarious remarks. the least the fashion industry needs now is another hot bombshell mass appealing mediocre spawn of satan 'woman' character..... i dont think her role is to fulfill this image anyway as it's irrelevant to the look of today. she has a chance on the circuit bc of her laidback, 'cool' attitude contrary to her looks which brings something diff to the table. add to her raspy, coarse boyish voice & mannerism is the only reason i like her, because her looks alone do not convince me.

im curious to see her French VOgue ed which should have come out by now..

people who like Mo tend to be conventional in their taste, b/c she has a look that's easy to 'get'.
but i think shes 1 of the best runway models out there. not an edgey face, but knows how to work the runway...

Mo looks atypical of a native Cantonese. i'd say she has roots in the Southwest prefectures. not unlikely considering the migration rate in that country. she's got the facial phenotypes ie high cheekbones, defined features typical of people from the Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangxi provinces. but not Cantonese, native Cantonese people definately dont look like her height-wise. like she said, she was much of an anomaly in her hometown where the head-turning ratio is pretty much 100%

one things though, she needs to stop putting her hand on her hip in every single picture as if its a prerequisite for taking a picture or something LOL. i know the mother agencies tell their models to 'strike a pose' ROFL but she needs to get rid of this tacky habit. it's like the equivalent of the 'Camilla Finn smile'.

Karl Lagerfeld is holding a Fendi show on the Great Wall of China on May 24 and is flying all the top models in for it. theres a good chance Mo's gunna be in it [pure speculation but i figure if one is using a countrys national monument for a fashion show might as well repay the favor & use its model]
