I think you pronounce the 'e' as well, so something like bu-tah-ne. But I'm not sure at all.

This is my first post here :)

How is Cintia Dicker's first name pronounced? I've always wondered. :)

You know in portuguese the "I" sounds like "E" , so Carolini seems like a better fit

Alisa, Cintia name is pronounced the same way in english but in portuguese the T has a stronger sound.

cintia = "CINchia" -- t in portuguese before "i" is pronounced "Ch". first syllable is accented.

caroline = caroLIni
gisele = giSEli
--> l+e = "li"

jeisa = jhe-EE-za

well.. it's kinda tough to explain...- you know the way of pronouncing the g in "Bellagio" (sp?) - as in the Vegas Bellagio casino? or in "genre-" as in "genre of music".- lol i dont know if you'll understand my example... :blush:
The G is a sort of "J" pronounciation in english, but not to rigid, more loose, like "Jh"....

I know!!!! "Collage" --- that "g" !!! :D

"gisele"

thanks catalina, your explanation cleared it all up for me!

how about julia stegner? i guess you'd say "you-leeah" but i'm in doubt about her last name - "staygner" maybe?
