I've always thought Alessandra had more and even more surprising that Vogue Brazil only had her on their covers when she had her high fashion renaissance in 2010. Would have thought her VS contract and visibility would warrant her at least her native Vogue edition.

^ Trust me, the biggest WTF of her career prior to 2010 was how she had NEVER graced her native Brazil's Vogue cover before. Off the top of my head I can only think of 1 proper only girl editorial between 2003 and 2010 for Vogue Brazil actually. That's why whenever people complain that she's on the cover of Vogue Brazil again I say she has a lot of catching up to do. And at most she gets 1 cover per year whereas Raquel and Isabeli and Gisele have all had up to 3 in a single year.

It's kind of bullsh*t especially considering that she's one of the biggest black models around. I understand the lull period of not getting covers because she got pregnant around that time, but for a girl who's got back-to-back VS spots, a Maybelline beauty contract, and visibility, she sure ain't getting industry support. I'm hoping it is't her demeanour and straightforward, callous yet truthful comments that have made editors not want to put her on their covers..

I'm sure she will. Last year was amazeballs for her, and she has parlayed it all into what seems will be another great season for her. Even though she does not dominate in the "commercial" market, I would consider her a "New Super". She will be the first from her era to hit 50 covers; although Sasha is not far behind.

They have their own editions? I don't think so I thought they counted as Vogue Latam or Vogue Mexico.
It will be cool to make a top 50 of all the models with the most Vogue Covers.
